About Us

Coming from a small town in Asansol, I was born into a middle-class family with three sisters and one brothers. Life was never easy, especially after my father passed away in 1984. I was only a child, but I quickly learned that survival meant stepping up, taking responsibility, and looking after my family.

I began my schooling in a government primary school, where I showed promise. With a passion for learning, my talent didn’t go unnoticed. My journey took a turning point when I got the opportunity to study at the Sorisa Ramkishan Mission. But, despite my potential, I was expelled after three years for reasons beyond my control. That setback didn’t break me; if anything, it fuelled my determination to forge my own path.

At just 12 years old, I had to leave my studies and step into the shoes of an adult. My mother, who worked as a nurse, had to stop her work due to family circumstances, and I became the breadwinner of the family. The weight of responsibility was heavy, but I knew there was no other choice.

To support my family, I took up various jobs — from working as an electrician to painting, working in glass factories, and doing laborious tasks. Each job, no matter how difficult, taught me something valuable. In 1995, an opportunity in the elevator industry came my way. I began working in the electrical department, then transitioned to the mechanical side. Soon, I was handling full installations, overseeing the projects from start to finish. It was a pivotal moment in my career.

As time passed, I gained experience and trust. I was offered roles with more responsibility, eventually becoming the head technician. My journey didn’t stop there. After years of hard work, I was promoted to the position of General Manager of a well-established company. But despite all the success, I felt there was more I could do. I wasn’t content with just being a part of someone else’s success story. I had a vision, a dream to create something of my own.

In 2019, I took the plunge and started my own company — GNX Elevators. With just four team members, we worked hard to establish a name in the market. We partnered with some of the top construction companies in the region, such as Andudev Construction, Roy Construction, Asirwad Enterprise, Maa Tarta Construction, Hotel Ornet, Baidnath Steel, and many more. Our efforts were paying off, and GNX Elevators quickly gained recognition for its quality work.

By May 2022, our team grew to seven members, and we had already secured a significant number of clients. The hard work and dedication of every member paid off, and we were now known as a trusted name in the industry. We had installed more than 45 new GNX elevators in Asansol, serviced over 60 elevators of other brands, and in Deoghar, we had completed 20 new installations and serviced 35+ others.

In 2025, our team has grown to 12 members, and we continue to expand. The success we’ve achieved is not just measured in numbers but in the trust and respect we’ve earned from our clients. The road wasn’t easy, but every challenge only strengthened our resolve.

Looking ahead, my vision is clear: I want GNX Elevators to become a leading company in the country and eventually make our mark in international markets. But behind this success, there are two people who have been my pillars — my mother and my wife.

Through every hurdle, every difficult time, it was my mother who supported me unconditionally. Her sacrifices and determination to keep the family together laid the foundation for everything I’ve accomplished. My wife, too, stood by me every step of the way, through thick and thin. Her unwavering belief in me has been my strength.

None of this would have been possible without the love and support of my family. Together, we’ve come a long way, and the journey is just beginning.
